Israel, late bronze Age, Holyland, ca. 1550 to 1200 BCE. Purportedly found in Jerusalem, pottery pouring vessel in a form called a Bilbil. Small rounded foot, bulbous midsection, thin neck and flared rim with directional spout. Size: 5-1/4"H (13.3 cm).
Provenance: Ex-private Bates Collection, Clarksville, IA, ex-Joel Malter Collection, acquired before 1990.
