A Roman red-ware sherd depicting the Boar of Calydon, North Africa, c. 4th - 5th Century AD, the boar beautiful detailed in relief, the muscled belly of Hercules visible behind as well as the head from his lion's skin and the base of his club. 2 5/8 in x 1 5/8 in (6.8 x 4.2 cm).
