A POLYCHROME PAINTED PORCELAIN AND LACQUERED BRASS CARRIAGE CLOCK, 20TH CENTURY, of traditional form and porcelain plaque mounted sides depicting classically attired maidens in various interior settings and landscapes, flanked by fluted Corinthian columns supporting a dentilated frieze and molded top surmounted by a swing carrying handle over a beveled glass window above a similarly decorated dial centering black Roman chapters with blued cut steel hands within a floral wreath and paired cooing doves, reversing to a hinged bronzed door opening to a rectangular backplate covering the mechanism, raised on a conforming plinth and flat paneled base, no signature.
