Seven hand-colored engraved plates of historical giants and dwarves (rarely seen with the seventh plate of three hundred pound ten year old Janna Drabbe); and one double sided fold-out plate with outlines of the shoe soles of the giant Gerrit Bastiaansz at ages 10 and 21. Paper covered boards with titles and ornamental borders on both covers, chipped paper title label on spine. Boards are rubbed (with surface loss to a few letters) and soiled, corners bumped, sticker remnants on upper left corner of front board and head of spine, small holograph pencil letters on upper left corner of front board, spine darkened and chipped, head and foot bumped; front hinge opened after front free endpaper, rear hinge cracked but still attached to binding straps, title page and conjugate loose, gathering B loose from lower binding strap, pages over-opened between gathering B and C, occasional light smudges or soiling; otherwise in good condition.
