Description
A 1902 early golf club carrier that was later cited in a patent for a Fishing Rod Holder by Delbert Durham in 1959, later by Carl T. Burgin in 1986, Philip J. Greenberg in 1991 and Loren Sauder in 1992. The holder stands 30 1/2" with a 5 1/4" spike that plants the holder in the ground. By pushing downward on the handle the spike becomes exposed and can anchor the holder to the ground. Constructed of metal, wood and leather and is called "Benlomond". Very Good plus.
