2/2 WF5 rod was never cataloged by Dickerson, and is given only passing mention by Schaaf/Stein, lending credence to the scarcity of this guides' rod. Marked "Dickerson 8616 Special" with original owner's name and "1949" on 4th flat from signature. Wrapped in traditional antique gold tipped black with traditional signature wraps at 7, 8, 9, and 10 inches above the grip for measuring a catch. Downlocking reel seat over walnut spacer. All original and full length, this rod is in excellent plus condition and is supplied with the original bag and tube.
