Description

7', 2/2. Clear wraps, tipped burgundy, red and black decorative wraps at the ferrules. Butt cap engraved "Thomas & Thomas / Makers" with "5" on bottom. Marked on shaft "Jus' Swell - 7' /#4" and "Ltd Edition - 1987" on opposing flat. Blacked anodized brass capped tube with label. The beauty of flamed bamboo combined with a dramatic execution of tapers, taking the graceful swelled butt design of all T&T rods to the extreme. Six strips of cane continued as a full size grip without the interruption of cork or other superfluous embellishment.
