BRASS SOLAR STAND LAMP, pyriform font, gilt lacquered simple patterned stem with circular extension and fitted on a square base, brass shoulder ring with holes for prisms. Font converted to kerosene with a No. 3 fine-line burner. Fitted with an E. Miller Solar burner, a colorless cut and engraved shade with punty and stylized floral pattern, and twelve cut prisms. Lamp mid 19th century. Shade late 19th or 20th century. 30" H to top of shade, 20 1/4" H to top of collar, 6" SQ base, shade 9 1/2" H, 5 7/8" D fitter.

Font interior with some light rust to base and a small hole, top with soldering and expected alterations, expected wear to gilt lacquer finish. Burner and shade undamaged, prisms with expected flakes/small chips and roughness.
