EMPRESS / RAINDROP AIR-TRAP MOTHER-OF-PEARL SATIN MINIATURE LAMP, cased white, compressed globular-form font, matching patterned ball-form shade, period collar. Fitted with a Plume & Atwood Nutmeg burner, colorless chimney. Circa 1900. 8" H to top of shade, 3 3/4" H to top of collar, 2 1/4" D base.
Literature: Parallels Smith - Miniature Lamps I, p. 240, fig. 601.
Provenance: The collection of Frank and Karen McWright of Bethel, CT.

Condition

Undamaged lamp and shade, shade rim top with normal minute flakes/roughness, as made along with several lightly discolored raindrops. Setup undamaged.
