Description
Mid-19th century, Edo period, Ukiyo-e style framed woodblock print. Ink and color on paper, framed. Print features single feminine figure holding folded fan in right hand, writing on left side of print below fan, writing on top of print in block with cat and banner, artist's signature, publisher's seal,and censor's seal on right side of print. Print approx. 14 1/2 by 10 in., 37 by 25.5 cm.
