Chinese, 20th century. A hand painted hanging scroll with three cartouches painted on paper, the top cartouche of fan form with four black calligraphic characters; the center an octagonal form cartouche depicting Shou Lao with staff and carrying the peach of longevity with a second figure behind him carrying several large peaches on a tray to his shoulder, the figures set before a mountainside with fence to left; and the lower cartouche of peach form with a painting depicting a teacher standing in a landscape orating to a seated student. Octagonal and peach form cartouches each with black calligraphic marks and a red seal mark. Overall approximate length 73", width 27".
