Description
Chinese, Qing Dynasty Qianlong Period mark (1736-1795), likely 20th century. A porcelain bottle vase of typical form with cobalt blue underglaze and rust red overglaze hand painted decoration of four 5-clawed dragons to body and one 5-clawed dragon to neck all amid cloud scrolls, pearls, and fire, the flaring rim with a band of ruyi head scrolls and the round foot with a band of meandering key. Marked to underside with six character blue underglaze Qianlong imperial reign mark. Approximate height 15.125", diameter 9.5".
