Pre-Columbian, Mexico, Proto Classic, Vera Cruz region, ca. 450 - 650 CE. A rare and quite charming pottery head of a dog. Face with nicely detailed incised decoration and lovely firing clouds throughout. Size: 8"L x 5-1/2"H.
