Majolica ‘Three Legged Sailor’ Teapot and Cover c.1875. Modeled as a three legged sailor sat upon a tree stump, the spout formed as a booted leg and the handle of branch, the sailors head and top hat forming the cover. The emblem of the Isle of Man is the three legged man, it is possible that this teapot design was manufactured for sale on the Isle of Man. Pg. 118 Karmason Stacke
