Description
A pair of early 20th century gold chysoberyl and diamond ear pendants. Each designed as a chrysoberyl cabochon, to the knife edge bar and old-cut diamond collet surmount. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Length 2cms. Weight 3.6gms. With fitted case.
Condition
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Chrysoberyl have visible cat's eye with medium green body colour. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Modern replacement screw back fittings for non pierced ears. Silk lining to case reads 'JohnsonWalker&Tolhurst Ltd, London, 80 Aldersgate Street.
