Description
A beaded silver tunic c.1914, the tulle ground embroidered with silver and gold beads; together with an Asuit stole dress, the ivory ground stamped with silver metal, 1920s (2)
Condition
• Asuit dress - binding is worn at armholes. 10cm vertical split and repair at left underarm, slightly taken in by tacking stitches at bodice sides. Slight seam pull at shoulders. Main body of dress is good.
• Beaded tunic- has a 2x1cm hole at centre back, a few more small holes and pinhead holes over rear skirt and front left skirt- not hugely noticeable. Beading is good. Left underarm with 2x5cm patched repair. Small holes at right underarm.
