An ivory figured silk gown, 1820s with later alterations, the sleeves with padded rouleaux trimmings with looped adornments; together with an 1840s dress with later alterations now comprising a separate bodice and skirt with floral block and roller prints (3)

Ivory dress - armholes have been cut and sleeves re-set. Alteration along waist – waist seam slightly undone. Calico lining added at hem. Occasional brown spot stains, later added lace. 1840s dress has been made into a separate bodice with draw-string skirt, heavily repaired but generally well done, skirt has occasional holes and tears
