Description
Frederick Carder (English, 1863-1963) for Steuben Glass Works (American, founded 1903), circa 1903-1932. A gold aurine and white calcite art glass compote, shape #2760, with round pedestal foot surmounted by short shaft and subtly ruffled round bowl with flaring shaped rim, the interior in iridescent gold aurine onion skin and the exterior in white calcite. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 5", diameter 10.75". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
