Description
Frederick Carder (English, 1863-1963) for Steuben Glass Works (American, founded 1903), circa 1903-1932. A group of two gold aurine art glass bowls comprising footed bowl similar to shape 2851, the cup form tapering body with flared rim surmounting a round pedestal foot with gold aurine interior and calcite exterior; and a gold aurine bonbon or master salt, shape 138, with wide ruffled edge and onion skin finish. Footed bowl apparently unmarked. Bon bon marked to underside "Steuben Aurine 138". Footed bowl approximate height 3", diameter 6". Bonbon approximate diameter 6". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
