Description
Mt. Washington (American, 1837-1894). A group of two glass biscuit jars mounted with silver plate collars and lids and with Hawthorn design hand painted floral enamels, one of vasiform with simple pink flowers, the other of shaped octagonal form with two wide bulbous sides and six narrow incurvate sides with allover blue floral, scroll, and diaper pattern motif. Unmarked. Pink flower jar approximate height to handle 10". Blue flower jar approximate height to handle 11". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
