Description

Deed and Cash safe strong box. Fire resistant. Solid sheet steel (NOT tin!). Painted black on outside, red inner. Swiveling handle up top of hinged lid. Retains original key, locks and unlocks just fine. Circa third/last quarter of the 19th century. Possibly English or American. Measurements: 7.5" x 5.75" x 3.25" without handle (19 cm x 14.5 cm x 8.5 cm). The key is about 40 mm long. Weighs approx. 4 lbs. (1.80 kg)

Good/Very Good overall, scuffs on the paint outside. Retains original key. Opens, closes, locks and unlocks fine. All original
