Lot includes thirty-seven 8 1/2" x 10" silver gelatin photographs from 1916 - 1920's showing before, during, and after photos of sections of the never completed Cincinnati Subway system. Each photo is titled and often numbered. Wonderful images showing workers excavating and building the tunnels, early steam shovels and horse drawn wagons, early businesses and factories. Lot also includes fifteen 3 1/2" x 5" color photos of surviving parts of the subway today, 8 paages of printed text and maps of the proposed subway system, all in large three ring binder.
