Description
Offered is a Columbia River Broad Head arrowhead found at the Wakemap Mound site in Washington. The arrowhead is approximately 1-5/16" x 1-1/16" and is made from multi-colored caramel agate. This artifact or point was found by Frank Buehler, founding member of the Oregon Archaeological Society (OAS). His artifacts were found from the 1930s through the 1960s at OAS dig sites in the region. Buehler was a well-known and respected amateur archeologist, historian, and collector, and all the artifacts from his collection we are offering have not been offered for public sale before.
