NOV. 30. 1880. / ROBT HITCHCOCK, WATERTOWN, N.Y.", underside of base with winding mechanism in working condition. Fitted with a Hitchcock burner, thumbwheel marked "REX MADE IN U.S.A.", flange marked "HITCHCOCK LAMP WATERTOWN N. Y." and with additional patent dates. Circa 1880. 10 1/2" H to top of collar, 5 1/2" D foot.
