Description
WE SHIP! The AEAA is proud to present this Rare gorgeous 1920s Parisian porcelain, hand painted ca. 1920s two-piece bolted Royal Urn vase with incredible hand-painted French Queen (Marie Antoinette?) molded handles and fine gilt accented hand painted floral medallions set upon a great square plinth. This incredible vase features a gilded royal blue spiral neck and beautifully gilded pedestal base and plinth. The base is marked Porcelaine de Paris, and has the large concentric opening slip mold, used after ca. 1920. The joiner-work bolting shows rust inside, also dating this great French treasure before WW II. The hand details are just stunning, and the Queens crown is obvious as is the French style Queens 45 degree cut ruff pattern (English and most Bohemian royal ruffs were full circle, and from the upper chest to pressing against the chin). Our superb urn vase weighs 3# 4 oz., measuring 6.75 x 5.5 x 12 inches tall, and is in excellent condition. This fine heirloom is from the living estate of Ailene & Buddy Ford, respected, longtime dealers of valuable antiques.
