Panama, San Blas Island, Cuna people, ca. 1960. Pair of textile Molas. First depicts an abstract pair of fruits or vegetables with other added patterns in very attractive colors. The next depicts a pair of birds, their beaks inserted into some abstract flower or vessel. Both are quite striking! Size: 20-1/2"W for largest.
