Description
Pre-Columbian, Mexico, ca. 900 to 1200 CE. Bowl with flaring rim supported by three slab feet, interior base of bowl with deep grooves to allow for grating foods, bowl painted with vertical stripes and floral patterns, feet with horizontal and vertical lines in black. A nice example that doesn't come along often! Size: 8" in diameter x 4-1/4"H.
Provenance: Ex-private Houston, TX collection acquired at auction or local gallery between 1982 and 1994.
