Art Nouveau Gold Dress Cane-Ca. 1890-18 karat yellow gold knob fashioned in a stretching mushroom shape and embellished with a flush set half pearl at the top and a row of square and calibrated, also flush set sapphires on the neck. The profile of the knob as well as its proportions and a delicately mat hammered surface with a rich yellow color suggest indirectly a pure and fully developed Art Nouveau taste, the shape of the tiny and slightly obscured hallmark on the ring collar a French provenance.
