Description
A late 19th century gold split pearl and diamond hinged bangle. The split pearl slanted line, to the graduated vari-cut diamond and split pearl geometric sides and openwork half-bangle. Estimated total diamond weight 1.50cts, H-I colour, SI clarity. Inner diameter 6.1cms. Weight 20.6gms.
Condition
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. There are areas of discolouration to the inner back setting and to the inside of the back band. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright. Small inclusions visible with magnification. The split pearls appear to slightly vary in colour, some are slightly more grey than others.
