A PAIR OF LOUIS XVI STYLE PARCEL GILT CARVED WOOD FAUTEUILS, MODERN, each with a "chapeau de gendarme" arched crest rail flanked by vasiform finials on a molded tapering rectangular frame enclosing a padded and contoured backrest, issuing padded scrolling arms on downswept supports and a serpentine padded seat, above a similarly carved conforming seat rail, within block florette detailed capitals raised on tapering fluted legs ending in toupie feet, upholstered throughout in a pale celadon cut velvet.
