A selection of three early 20th century 9ct gold gem-set bar brooches. To include an aquamarine and seed pearl openwork brooch, an opal doublet bar brooch, together with a hexagonal amethyst bar brooch. Lengths 6 to 3.6cms. Weight 14gms.

Overall condition good. Surface scratches/wear and slight discolouration in keeping with general age and wear. Amethyst brooch converted from two near period items. Opal doublet brooch with base metal pin. Seed pearls untested for natural origin. The seed pearls are a well matched creamy white hue, slightly different shapes. Aquamarine is a deep medium blue hue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. One stamped 9ct.
