VERY FINE Chinese Ming Dynasty Sino-Tibetan Gilt Bronze Bhodisatvas figure of Avalokiteshvara.
As the nature of all buddhas, seated Avalokiteshvara, with resplendent, smiling, peaceful face and radiant. Adorned with many attractive silks and jewels. Its has four hands, the first raised slightly above shoulders, the lower are folded at the heart in namaskara mudra; two beautiful feet seated in vajra posture upon double lotus crown pedestal.The silk belt is draped over the figure body, and wraps around both shoulders downward to the pedestal.
