Description
A pair of 1970s lapis lazuli earrings, attributed to Archibald Dumbar. Each designed as an asymmetric kite-shape lapis lazuli panel and off-set textured chevron side, with grooved bar stepped surmount. Length 2.5cms. Weight 15.1gms. With maker's case.
Condition
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Lapis lazuli untested for natural colour origin. Lapis lazuli mottled white and blue with pyrite flecks. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions and some small nicks. Hinged clip fittings for non-pierced ears. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
