Lot 322, a stylish Boucheron Art Deco brooch, circa 1930, of geometric design decorated with hexagonal and brilliant-cut diamonds, emeralds and enamel arrow accents. This Art Deco delight has a total diamond weight of 7 carats, and has the estimate of £8,000-12,000. The brooch is signed for Boucheron, a jewellery house synonymous with style. Founded in 1858 during the heyday of the Second French Empire, Boucheron have created jewels for the famous and aristocratic. Queen Elizabeth II is known to have a collection of Boucheron jewels. From the bold and bright, to the delicate and pretty, includes a gorgeous array of amethyst and Art Nouveau pieces. The hexagonal amethyst necklace (lot 78) is a pretty piece with richly coloured and well matched stones, with an estimate of £1,000-1,500.
