The two figures smoking. Signed under ' Gyoku *** ' in a tsuishu red lacquer reserve under. 8 3/8 w x 5 1/4" highA Kago is a type of litter used as a means of human transportation by the non-samurai class in feudal Japan and into the Meiji Period.
