(1902 - 1943) Italian aviator and Fascist politician, Party Secretary of the National Fascist Party. During the war, he participated in the Italian invasion of France, the long-range bombing of Haifa and Bahrein, and during the Battle of Britain. Good content war-date A.L.S., 2pp. 4to., Littoria, Feb. 22, 1941 to Carlo Favagrossa, Under-Secretary for War Production. Muti writes in support of airplane makers Savoia Marchetti, asking for material: "...Otherwise, I will end up not getting the planes which lack only the armored seats. I certainly cannot equip them with folding stools!...I beg you to help me...the use of armored airplanes results in a very high percentage of aircraft able to return to their bases not only with men, but also with materiel...". Fine.
