Description
Two late 19th century gem-set dress rings. To include a 15ct gold pink paste and split pearl dress ring and a red paste, garnet and split pearl marquise-shape ring, with later band. One with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1876. Total weight 4.6gms.
Condition
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. The pink paste are heavily abraded, the split pearls slightly vary in colour, some with a greyer body colour. Significant solder join to the band, that has removed part of the hallmark. Visible areas of abrasion to the red paste, the split pearls appear grey with visible blemishes. Significant sizing mark visible to band where an area has been added. Ring sizes O1/2 and O.
