Two gem-set dress rings. To include a mid 19th century garnet and split pearl seven-stone ring, together with a split pearl, amethyst and diamond cluster ring. Weight 4.6gms.

Overall condition fair to poor. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.

Damage to the back of one of the garnet settings.

Evidence of sizing to the mid 19th century ring, soft solder visible in places, from possible alterations.

One of the garnets is significantly chipped, damage to the nacre of some of the split pearls.

The central split pearl to the cluster ring is significantly abraded, abrasion also visible to the facet edges of the amethysts.

Chips visible to the rose-cut diamonds with magnification.

The band has possibly been added to the cluster at a later date.
