Description
19th century. The first, boldly painted in overglaze enamels to the exterior with prunus, chrysanthemums and lotus, the interior with a peach, the base with a four character iron red stamped mark; the second, a quatralobed shallow dish, one side with a pair of court ladies seated in a garden setting by a bamboo fence, the reverse with Chinese inscription; the third, a shallow footed octalobed serving dish on a raised circular foot ring, the interior painted with a white crested long tailed bird perched on a limb of a flowering tree with Chinese inscriptions and iron red seal mark to the upper left corner, the exterior and foot painted with leafy sprays of bamboo in iron red with a four character mark to base. The largest approx. 2 1/4 by 6 1/4 in. diam., 5.7 by 15.9 cm. diam.
