AN IRISH PROVINCIAL LONG CASE CLOCK, by George Aicken, Cork, early 19th century, the arched brass dial with Arabic and Roman numerals, subsidiary dial for seconds and date aperture, signed in the arch on a roundel flanked with dolphin spandrels, the mahogany hood flanked with two half reeded and fluted brass inlaid pilasters, above a nicely coloured door on moulded box base trunk, 89in (228cm)h x 20in (50cm)w.
