Approximately 170 original silver print photographs, mounted to black leaves within a photograph album. Photographs are captioned in Japanese in white on the black leaves next to each photograph. Photographs range in size from 2.5x1.5 cm (1x½") to 14.7x20 cm (5¾x8")

Some photographs are now lacking (captions present without a photograph). A pre-World War II photograph album depicting a happy young Japanese man, and many friends and family. Includes several images of him posing with military pals, including one portrait where they hold the Japanese battle flag.

Photographs are near fine; photograph album binding is weak; very good.
