17th Century Chinese Carved Jade & Hardwood Hat Stand, the domed jade disc carved in high relief with two five clawed dragons chasing the flaming pearl on a ground of swirling clouds, the center carved with the yin-yang, the disc raised on a hard wood stand with a baluster stem supported on a thick carved base, the jade disc with a crack on one side extending from the dragon's mouth to the rim, damage to the stem, the hardwood base restored to top and with glue to base where fitted with the baluster stem, appx. 16 in.
