Tibetan, 18th century or earlier. Gouache in canvas, mounted to a Chinese silk scroll with silver knobs. A highly detailed Thangka painting with numerous figures. Full inscription in reverse canvas; 27 x 19.5 in. (painting itself).
Provenance: Property of the Zanesville Museum of Art, Zanesville, OH. Sold to Benefit the Acquisition Fund.
Ex Collection of Mrs. Elizabeth Ayers Hay, donated 1962.
