Item Details

Description

An outstanding gilt bronze casting of rectangular four-footed base, two detailed putti figures in robes holding an acanthus leaf basket set with the original cut glass insert formed to fit and cut with saw tooth scallop border that conforms to the acanthus leaf basket, the glass insert has a star cut base. The original dore' finish has a perfect subtle sheen. Circa mid 19th century. Measures 17.5 inches high and 14 inches across and 10 inches deep.

Condition

Very fine without damage, repair, wear, alteration, refurbishing etc. The crystal portion has no chips, cracks, scratches or repair. No condition issues, excellent.
