Egypt, ca. 1st - 3rd century CE. An ancient pottery statuette of the child god Harpokrates, his right to his mouth, a cornucopia in his left hand. 5-1/4"H (13 cm).
Provenance: Formerly in the M. Carvin collection, (Vienna & New York), acquired prior to 1970.
