A Romano-Egyptian terracotta head of Harpokrates, 1st - 2nd Century AD, with side-lock and wearing the Double Crown of Upper and Lower Egypt flanked by feathers. His features are well-modeled in fine style. H: 2 1/4 in (5.7 cm). Light deposits, black lucite base. Ex Harold Whitbeck estate, San Francisco CA, acquired during the 1980's and 1990's from major auction houses and galleries in the US and UK.
