ZHUKOV GEORGI: (1896-1974) Soviet Military Leader of World War II, Chief of the Staff of the Red Army, 1941. D.S., G. Zhukov, two pages, 4to, 26th October 1952, in Russian. The partially printed and typed document relates to Lieutenant Colonel Alexey Vasilyevich Netreba, providing certain biographical details and with a small photograph of him in uniform attached to the upper right corner, further recommending that he is promoted from Lieutenant-Colonel to Colonel of the 196th Separate Infantry Battalion of the 23rd Separate Infantry Brigade. The document bears various official stamps and countersignatures and is signed by Zhukov at the foot of the second page, adding the comment 'Agreed' in his hand.
