底款：瓜田傍綠溪 逸公
壺朱泥胎質，肌理紅潤，寶光熠熠。圓口，蓋緣凸出的唇線 與壺口密合，圓腹較高，曲柄，短彎流，圈足。底刻行書 「瓜田傍綠溪 逸公」，詩句出自唐代岑參《早秋與諸子登虢 州西亭觀眺》，字體秀美挺拔。綜觀整器，光澤瑩潤，胎薄 輕巧，線條圓轉流暢，玲瓏秀巧，流露高雅氣質。

宜興紫砂壺歷史悠久，自明代嘉靖、萬曆間開始盛行。而朱 泥壺自清初漸增，清中期達到全盛。日本人奧闌田在其紫砂 壺專著《茗壺圖錄》描寫朱泥小壺美侖美奐：「流彎而仰， 鋬環而纖，輕似鴻毛，泥色純朱??，通體柔情綽態，嬋娟 如妃子浴華清池中，故號曰：浴後妃子。」由於朱泥礦源有 限，加上採掘難度高，開採的純朱泥礦以斤兩計價出售，更 受達官顯貴追求與喜好，在製作和燒成過程中，成品留傳鳳 毛麟角，不可多得。

逸公，即惠逸公，清雍正、乾隆時宜興製壺高手。逸公所製 茗壺，形式大小與諸色泥質具備，作品雅致脫俗，巧而不 纖。書法無定體，楷、行、草書俱佳，真書高雅，楷書有唐 帖遺意。刻法竹刀、鋼刀均用，或沉著或飛舞。工巧一類， 可與孟臣相悉，故世稱「二惠」。
