壺泥色紅潤古樸，壺身鼓腹飽滿，柄圓弧細緻。壺底內凹， 刻有「詩狂石作牋 孟臣」。整器清秀俊美，高挑玉立，宛如 蛋型，別緻討喜。 孟臣壺起源於明末清初的大師惠孟臣，以 擅製小壺馳名於世，尤以朱泥作品為最。壺除注重壺體渾樸 精妙的造型外，尤重銘刻書法，其款識多為五或七字詩句或 吉祥語，並鐫刻署名，詩款內容結合飲茶意境，表露出修身 養性之意，帶有濃郁文人氣息。
