卷莨入分蓋與盒，子母口相合。通體以鐵為材，堅實沉穩。蓋面浮雕水波盪漾，一尾鯉魚悠游其間。細觀之，可見水面上有水黽漂浮，角落以金、銀飾睡蓮，畫面雅致富有清趣。蓋與盒腹壁嵌銀裝飾菱格錦地紋，浮雕工藝如火純青，鐵的古樸質感與金銀華麗氣韻輝映，顯露低調而奢華之美韻。
